Dr Vidya, from India (Kerela), completed her studies in 2006 from Government Ayurveda College Trivandrum – the most ancient and prestigious Ayurveda College in India run by Government of Kerala.
After graduating she was trained by the great Ayurvedic Master Late Vaidyabhooshanam Raghavan Thirumulpad. She developed a strong base on different Ayurvedic treatments, especially Panchakarma, Ayurvedic physical therapy, psychotherapy and spiritual therapy. She is specialised in women disorders and associated ailments.
Since then she has been practicing as an Ayurvedic doctor with her husband, Doctor Vijith, in their Ayurvedic clinic in Kerala, helping patients to come back to a healthy life from various diseases (i.e. cancer, neurology diseases, spine disorders, digestive disorders, muscular & joint diseases, female disorders, skin diseases and more).
As a lady doctor, she is often approached in her practice by women with cosmetic issues like skin problems, hair fall, greying of hair, dry and cracked hair, scaling of scalp, dandruff, etc…. Most of them came to her after trying regular products available in the market that did not help or made the condition worse.
So she decided to study a post graduate diploma in Cosmetology. Here she investigated common causes and Dosha imbalances among people with such cosmetic problems. With her deep knowledge in the ancient Ayurvedic Scriptures, Dr.Vidya started formulating some Ayurvedic remedies, mainly oils, to help her patients.
After many years of healing her patients and receiving excellent results and feedback she decided to start her own company KAMI HERBALS, named after her beloved daughter ShivaKami.
Five years old Shivakami uses these products regularly for her hair and body.
