Chamomile is well known for its calming, soothing and healing properties. However, used in skincare, it is also an antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic agent from nature. CLARY SAGE

The essential oil of Clary Sage is derived by steam distilling it from the flowers. The uplifting, reviving aroma helps to calm nervous tension and acts as a mood elevator. Also calms and soothes the skin while protecting it from skin irritation.

COCONUT MILK

Gotukola, also known as Centella is known to calm inflammation, speed up wound healing, stimulate new cell growth, build collagen, and improve circulation. MACE

Called as Jatiphala in Ayurveda, Mace is the twin sister of Nutmeg. With anti-oxidant and anti-septic properties, it is considered to be the powerhouse of enormous nutrients including vitamin A, thiamin, vitamin C, calcium, sodium, iron, potassium, zinc,etc. Mace oil has a nutty, spicy and soft aroma and is basically obtained through steam distillation from the dried seed of the myristica fragrans nutmeg tree species. With its power from being a brain stimulant to its effectiveness in treating depression, insomnia and rheumatism, Mace has been prescribed for healing various health conditions.

ORANGE

An excellent source of Vitamin C, the antioxidants present in oranges fight free radicals and thus prevents premature aging of the skin. Oranges have a high content of citric acid which is effective in driving away acne. Orange peels are a natural bleaching agent that can lighten dark blotches on the skin and effectively remove them with time. They help in reducing suntans by deflecting harmful UV rays from attacking skin cells.They also contain folic acid, a type of vitamin B that is vital to hair growth. Oranges also contain Insonitol, another form of vitamin B that prevents hair loss and stimulates hair growth.

PEEPAL

Peepal also known as Sacred Fig, is one of the most sacred trees since ancient times in India. Traditionally, it is used in treatment of various infections and healing of wounds. Peepal, extensively used in Ayurveda, is considered to be antibacterial, antiviral, astringent and antidiarrhoeal in nature. It has antiseptic properties which are capable of preventing infections by inhibiting the growth of infectious agents.

RICE

Rice water extract has been used for centuries by women in Asia for beautiful skin and hair. It is an excellent skin toner and hair wash. Rice extract is helpful in increasing the production of collagen maintaining the skin elasticity. Its chemical structure helps in regeneration and reduces dead or damaged skin cells . The extract of of this shrub is rich in a specific polyphenol has been found to protect against the deep effects of UV radiation on the skin. In addition, Cassia Alata is know to repair sun damage and also reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. With anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties, Ringworm shrub treats skin related ailments as well as fungal infections. Due to its astringent properties, it tightens the cells and tissues and also tones the skin.

SHIKAKAI

Shikakai, a traditional Ayurvedic ingredient, is a mild cleanser for hair that has a naturally low pH. It also cleans hair and scalp without stripping the natural oils. With anti-fungal properties, Shikakai helps in treating dandruff and treats dry and itchy scalp thereby making the hair roots stronger and healthier.

BANYAN LEAF

COCCINEA

Jungle Geranium is a flowering shrub and is known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The essential oil derived from its flowers contain an essential oil which possesses antimicrobial activity.

GERANIUM

Geranium oil is used in aromatherapy to treat acne, anxiety, depression and insomnia. The essential oil can also aid in uplifting mood, lessening fatigue and promoting emotional wellness. It contains antibacterial, antifungal and antioxidant properties. It also helps eliminate the appearance of scars and dark spots by helping improve circulation and promoting an equal distribution of melanin.

HARITAKI

Haritaki fruit is one among the three, that constitute Triphala. It is known as a rejuvenating herb in Ayurveda and is used to address a variety of scalp and hai issues such as fall, dandruff and other scalp infections. Due to its anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and astringent properties, it guards the skin from germs and environmental pollutants and is very effective in treating acne and scars. MOGRA

It can also be useful for treating bacterial skin conditions and rashes due to its antimicrobial ability.

SAL TREE LEAF

Shorea Robusta, also known as Sal Tree or Shala, is a well-known tree that can be found all over India and neighboring countries. Its astringent properties make it very beneficial to skin and hair. Sal Tree is a powerful astringent and is high in anti-microbial properties. It is an excellent tool to decrease excessive sweating and works well in repairing skin cells.

SPEARMINT

The Essential Oil of Spearmint is extracted by steam distillation of flowering tops of the spearmint plant, whose scientific name is Mentha Spicata. It is antispasmodic, due to which it has a relaxing and cooling effect on the nerves and muscles, and helps relax contractions in the case of spasms. The antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties of Essential Oil of Spearmint make it a disinfectant and a such can help get rid of both internal and external infections.

TAMANU NUT

Tamanu Oil is a significant healing agent because of its ability to produce new skin tissues. With antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties, it is also effective for healing wounds, burns, cuts etc. It relieves and protects the skin against inflammation, skin redness, sunburn and insect bites and has a regenerating effect on the skin. Wintergreen oil is made by steam processing of warmed, water-soaked wintergreen leaves. It eradicates pain and relieves stress and tension. Wintergreen gets absorbed easily into the skin and acts like a natural numbing agent. It also promotes blood circulation and cools irritation, which is comforting to swollen skin. As a natural astringent and antiseptic, when applied directly to the skin with a carrier oil, wintergreen is able to fight inflammation from acne and blemishes. SWEET ALMOND

Sweet Almond Oil that comes exclusively from edible almonds selectively cultivated for their sweet taste - it is the oil popularly used for skin and hair care. Sweet Almond oil is a mild, hypoallergenic oil that can be safely used even on baby skin. Sweet Almond oil is light in texture, and can easily penetrate deep into the skin, softening and dislodging the dirt and debris accumulated in the skin pores and hair follicles. Almond oil contains Vitamin E, which is one of the most potent antioxidants known. It can help repair some of the damage done to the collagen layer. The oil is especially rich in proteins, and can provide the amino acids required for the formation of collagen. ZINC OXIDE

Zinc Oxide is a natural occurring mineral and one of the safest skin-protecting ingredients against the harmful effects of ultraviolet (UV) rays. It filters out both UVA and UVB rays, thus forming a shield that keeps UV radiation from penetrating the skin and causing cell damage. With Anti-microbial properties, Non-Nano Zinc Oxide is non-toxic, non-comedogenic and is one of the few sun care ingredients that is safe to use on children.

TITANIUM DIOXIDE

Titanium dioxide is an active mineral ingredient that works naturally to block the sun’s rays. It has a slight white appearance when applied to skin. Due to its dual ability, Glycerin acts as protectant by retaining the outer layer of the skin intact. This layer is critically needed to work as a natural barrier to save your skin from pollutants and skin disease causing bacteria.

GINGER

Ginger has a long-standing reputation as a healer. Because of its toning and antioxidant properties, ginger can reduce the appearance of scarring. It contains around 40 antioxidant properties that prevent free radical damage and protect against aging. Ginger also softens the skin, provides even skin tone and improves the elasticity.

COCOS NUCIFERA OIL

Rich in Lauric Acid, Organic Coconut Oil provides immunity against bacterial, fungal and viral infections. Rich in Vitamin E, it keeps the skin moisturised and healthy. Organic Coconut oil is rich in nutrients that soften, relieve dryness, removes dead skin and has natural antioxidants properties. Coconut oil makes a very effective conditioning treatment. PHYLLANTHUS EMBLICA

In the case of oily skin, it balances the oil content, and can be used for treating skin irritations and burns. Rose deals with inflammation of the scalp, strengthens dry hair, nourishes the scalp, moisturises hair roots, and promotes new hair growth. It also prevents outbreaks of skin problems like acne, pore block, blackheads, pimples, wrinkles and lines. It is used as an astringent to hydrate the skin, and to make it healthy, youthful, supple, fresh and glowing. Rose petals are a great way to relieve eye pain and headaches.

JASMINUM

It is also known as Jasmine. The therapeutic properties of Jasmine are antidepressant, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, antispamotic, cicatrisant, expectorant, galactagogue, parturient, sedative and uterine. Jasmine is good for all skin types but very good for dry skin.

GLYCYRRHIZA GLABRA

Also known as Liquorice or MulaithiGlycyrrhiza Glabra has antiseptic properties and protects against bacterial and fungal infections. It reduces baldness, promotes hair growth and is also an effective cure for dandruff.

CROCUS SATIVUS

Also known as Saffron or KesaramCrocus Sativus imparts fairness and a glow to the skin. It is known to improve skin texture, treat skin ailments like pigmentation, dark circles, pimples and acne, and lighten darkened skin. It also acts as an anti-inflammatory agent.

MANJISTHA

Known as Indian madder is a prized Ayurvedic tonic herb.It works as a brilliant remedy to cure uneven pigmentation of skin and treats several skin allergies like eczema and acne.It works as a powerful antioxidant to nourish hair and skin.It is also consumed in powdered form to improve our body’s blood circulation.

AMYGDALUS COMMUNIS
