We begin with winter, a season associated in Ayurveda with qualities of cold, heaviness, and stillness (Kapha). The yoga practice is designed to gently counterbalance these qualities by cultivating mobility, warmth, fluidity, openness and lightness—supporting both body and energy during the colder months.
