SWEET ALMOND

Sweet Almond Oil that comes exclusively from edible almonds selectively cultivated for their sweet taste - it is the oil popularly used for skin and hair care. Sweet Almond oil is a mild, hypoallergenic oil that can be safely used even on baby skin. Sweet Almond oil is light in texture, and can easily penetrate deep into the skin, softening and dislodging the dirt and debris accumulated in the skin pores and hair follicles. Almond oil contains Vitamin E, which is one of the most potent antioxidants known. It can help repair some of the damage done to the collagen layer. The oil is especially rich in proteins, and can provide the amino acids required for the formation of collagen. External application of the oil can prevent dehydration by reducing moisture loss from the skin.

COCONUT MILK

Coconut milk is packed with vitamins C, E, B1, B3, B5, and B6 as well as iron, selenium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus. Coconut milk contains all essential nutrients required for healthy hair, boosting your hair follicles and promoting hair growth. It has high levels of Vitamin C which helps maintain elasticity and flexibility of skin. Also rich in nourishment, it prevents wrinkles, sagging skin and age spots.The natural fatty acids in Coconut milk help treat dry and irritated skin and remove harmful bacteria.

PINE

Due to its antiseptic properties, it is useful for a variety of skin conditions including psoriasis, acne, boils and itching. It is also an excellent remedy for the scalp, especially in enabling action against dryness and dandruff.

COSTUS

Costus or 'Kustha' is an important medicinal herb of Ayurveda. In Ayurveda, it is used to treat and heal the skin. Costus, with its anti-microbial activities is considered extremely good for acne prone skin.

LAVENDER

A natural sedative, it is great for treating insomnia and other sleep-induced disorders. It’s also an antiseptic and works well with acne and cuts. It is also used to heal knee and joint pains.

CINNAMON

It possesses aromatic properties and majorly helps in restoring the natural color of the skin. It is also an excellent toner, as it naturally suspends excess oil from the skin or scalp.  

COCOS NUCIFERA OIL

Rich in Lauric Acid, Organic Coconut Oil provides immunity against bacterial, fungal and viral infections. Rich in Vitamin E, it keeps the skin moisturised and healthy. Organic Coconut oil is rich in nutrients that soften, relieve dryness, removes dead skin and has natural antioxidants properties. Coconut oil makes a very effective conditioning treatment. It soothes dry sensitive skin or scalp and adds lustre to damaged hair.

ELETTARIA CARDAMOMUM

Elettaria Cardamomum, also known as Green Cardamom, is pungent and aromatic in nature. It possesses dermatological and anti-microbial qualities. It soothes inflammatory symptoms in the skin.

SESAMUM INDICUM OIL

Sesamum Indicum Oil, also known as Sesame Oil or Til ka tel, is used in health treatments and massages for the body. It is a great remedy for migraine and insomnia, and also relieves anxiety. This oil is also believed to cure health problems associated with aggravation of Vata. The oil also removes wrinkles and is a natural moisturiser. It also prevents premature greying, loss of hair and lice, and helps in hair growth.

Step 1:

Massage body vigorously daily, ideally for at least 10 days, with the Retexturising Skin Treatment JWALINI to stimulate lymphatic system and help remove ama (toxins), excess water and cellulite accumulated during the winter months. Ideally use raw silk gloves to apply. Focus on affected areas with more stagnation or cellulite. Start from feet upwards. Take a cold shower after the massage. After that you’ll feel nice, fresh and lubricated, just like spring!

Step 2:

Gently massage your face with Organic Almond Oil every day, to help diffuse those darker winter spots still present in the skin from the winter months. If you are exposed to the sun, make sure you apply the almond oil before the sunscreen to have a natural moisture base for the skin.
