DETAILS
Handcrafted in Kerala, India, this traditional brass Uruli embodies centuries of South Indian artistry.
Originally used in Ayurvedic practices and temple rituals, the Uruli is known for its ability to retain heat evenly — making it perfect for cooking herbal oils, herbal infusions, or simply as a decorative bowl.
Today, it’s often used to make a paste with herbal powders such as Ubtan, or as a decorative piece, filled with water and adorned with floating flowers or candles to create a serene, welcoming atmosphere in homes and wellness spaces.
It can also be used for aromatherapy purposes when filled with warm water with a few drops of essential oil, like lavender.
Each Uruli is uniquely handmade, carrying the charm and warmth of Kerala’s rich cultural heritage.
